Song Hye Kyo donates 10 million won in the Ice Bucket Challenge, “Next challenger Han So Hee”
Actress Song Hye Kyo joined the Ice Bucket Challenge by contributing a 10-million-won donation.
On July 14th, Song Hye Kyo posted a donation certificate on her Instagram Story. She added a long caption, saying “Hello, this is Song Hye Kyo. I participated in the 2023 Ice Bucket Donation Challenge after getting mentioned by actor Lee Do Hyun”.
According to the certificate content, Song Hye Kyo delivered a donation of 10 million won to the Seungil Hope Foundation under her own name.
She continued, “We need to gather the affectionate interest and support from many people for the establishment of Korea’s first healthcare hospital for Lou Gehrig’s patients”, adding “In order to help this meaningful campaign, in which each person join with precious heart, succeed, I will also participate and contribute my support to spread warm”.
Lastly, the actress said, “I wish all Lou Gehrig’s patients and their families are always happy and healthy”, adding “The next three people I’m challenging are actress Han So Hee, model Shin Hyun Ji, and actor Kim Min Seok.”
Earlier on July 10th, Jinusean Sean started the Ice Bucket Challenge to raise funds for the construction of the first healthcare hospital for Lou Gehrig’s patients in Korea. The Ice Bucket Challenge is a relay donation campaign in which each participant pours ice water on their body or makes donations and then challenges three other people. The three people who get mentioned will continue the Ice Bucket Challenge within 24 hours and select the next challengers.
Many celebrities, such as IU, Park Bo Gum, Oh My Girl Mimi, The Boyz Q, Lee Joo Young, Lee Young Ji, Lee Si Young, etc., have joined the Ice Bucket Challenge and spread good influence.
