Song Hye Kyo has left fans even more curious after revealing that there are childhood photos she refuses to share with the public. The actress opened up about the story behind the unreleased pictures during a past appearance on VIVO TV, with the interview recently resurfacing online.
During the conversation, Song Hye Kyo was asked whether she had always known she was beautiful growing up. She responded with an unexpected story from her elementary school years.
According to the actress, she was naturally very thin as a child until her mother gave her herbal medicine designed to improve her appetite. The treatment worked so well that she quickly gained weight. Song Hye Kyo even recalled a neighbor teasing her mother by saying: “Your daughter used to be pretty, but now she’s ruined her looks.”
The actress shared the story with laughter, explaining that her face became so chubby that her facial features were difficult to recognize in photos.
