Song Hye Kyo: “Acting, I Will Quietly and Diligently Continue as Always… Always Striving to Be a Good Adult”

In the September issue of the fashion magazine Elle, Song Hye Kyo showcased her magically beautiful visuals on the cover.

Having reaffirmed her acting prowess with “The Glory,” she said, “It was a genre I was trying for the first time, so I had a lot of worries and fears, but fortunately, I received a lot of love and found new enjoyment. I now have the belief that I can do even better, a desire to show a better side of myself, and the courage to challenge things I haven’t tried before.”

Choosing the film “The Black Nuns” as her next project, Song Hye Kyo explained, “I’m not a fan of the occult genre, but my mother particularly likes it, so I was familiar with it from a young age. I didn’t want to return to melodramas or love stories after ‘The Glory.’ Coincidentally, I came across ‘The Black Nuns.’ Seeing my face fighting for someone on the monitor was new and interesting, and I had high expectations of discovering a different side of myself if I completed this challenge.”

She continued, “I like people who bring happiness just by talking about small things,” adding, “Especially, there are many good adults around me. Life isn’t always happy, is it? When things were tough, the adults around me always helped guide me towards a good path. So, I always strive to be a good adult myself.”

Regarding her career as an actress, she said, “I have always done my best in the given time. The results may not always be good. Therefore, whether in the past, present, or future, I will quietly and diligently do my best in my place. I will accept criticism and receive praise when it’s given,” showing her sincerity.
