“The History of Jealousy“ has been scheduled to air in the second half of this year, but Song Ha-yoon is surrounded by school violence rumors. Therefore, it is unclear whether the project will premiere as planned. In addition, Song Ha-yoon’s co-star in this drama is Cho Byung-gyu, who also struggled with school violence allegations in the past.

Cho Byung-gyu faced a total of three school violence accusations. Two accusers already confirmed that the information was false and voluntarily deleted their fake disclosures. However, the remaining accuser, introduced as a New Zealand alumni, continued to make school violence claims but refused to comply with the police summons for investigations.

Song Ha-yoon’s school violence rumors were raised by a JTBC program on April 1st. The program introduced Song Ha-yoon as “actor S who recently impressed viewers with her acting as a villain in a popular drama”, and cited the accusation from an informant. Accordingly, the informant claimed to have been slapped by Song Ha-yoon for one and a half hours.

The actress’s agency King Kong by Starship later refuted the accusations in their official stance. Revealing their efforts to reach out to the informant but received no answer, the agency emphasized that the school violence accusation was solely based on the informant’s unilateral claims.
