On August 27, Song Da-eun posted a video on her channel showing herself waiting at her apartment entrance. When the elevator doors opened, the person she greeted was Jimin. He warmly asked, “Did you know I was coming?” The clip quickly went viral, fueling speculation about their relationship once again.
The timing of Song Da-eun’s decision to upload the video has sparked intense debate. This is not the first time she has been linked to Jimin. Since dating rumors first surfaced in 2022, she has faced relentless malicious comments and found herself in open conflict with parts of the fandom.
Over the past three years, Song Da-eun has frequently responded to the harassment—sometimes by publicly exposing hate comments, other times by announcing legal action. During the height of the 2023 rumors, she wrote, “Please ask others about matters unrelated to me. I am perfectly fine. Don’t try to scare me by saying how terrifying the fandom is or how much trouble I could get into with lawsuits.”
