The video released by actor Son Seok-gu is drawing attention.
Son Seok-gu posted a video on his Instagram on Jun 4th, showing the villains in the scene where Son Seok-gu’s presence is revealed for the first time in the movie “The Roundup.” “The villain family of ‘The Roundup 2’,” he said. “We are grateful for all the 8 million viewers who were willing to be kidnapped,” he said, explaining the video and expressing his feelings.
The video was taken by Son Seok-gu himself during filming, in which Lee Kyu-won, Lee Jong-doo, Kim Young-sung, and Cha Woo-jin introduced their roles in the movie. Unlike their evil appearance shown in the movie, they talks affectionately with a simple smile.
SNS users who watched the video responded by leaving comments such as “Am I kidnapped?” He was so scary in the movie, but he is so nice in real life,” “I love you more,” and “I admire you.”
Son Seok-gu played the role of Kang Hae-sang, the strongest villain who hides in Vietnam, in the movie “The Roundup 2.” The movie is about Ma Seok-do (played by Ma Dong-seok), a monster detective, and the Geumcheon-seo gang conducting a crime-fighting operation to catch Kang Hae-sang’s group of villains.
The movie is gaining huge popularity as the first movie to surpass 8 million viewers since the pandemic.
