Son Heung-min Acquires Ultra-Luxury Residence in Apgujeong “Minimum Price of 20 Billion Won”

It has been reported that Son Heung-min (31, Tottenham Hotspur), the captain of the South Korean national soccer team, has acquired a high-priced residence in Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu called "Eterno Apgujeong"

According to the real estate industry on June 27th, Son purchased a unit in Eterno Apgujeong, which follows the development of “Eterno Cheongdam”.

Eterno Apgujeong is an ultra-luxury residence with prices starting at a minimum of 20 billion won. The price of a super penthouse, spanning three floors, reaches up to 70 billion won.

Currently, all penthouse types at Eterno Apgujeong have been sold out, except for a few super penthouses and general terrace mansions. It is known that Son acquired one of the penthouses, but the specific type has not been confirmed.

Eterno Apgujeong, located on the site of Hyosung Villa B Complex (82-7 Cheongdam-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul), will consist of 29 units and is expected to be completed in 2028. The construction is being handled by Hyundai Engineering & Construction.

The project gained attention as it is the first design in Asia by world-renowned Spanish architect Rafael Moneo. The site area is about 1.6 times larger than that of Eterno Cheongdam.

Eterno Cheongdam was also designed by Moneo. Located near Apgujeong Rodeo Station on the Suin-Bundang Line, all units at Eterno Cheongdam offer views of the Han River. The building comprises 29 units across a 20-story building, ranging from 244 to 497 square meters, and was completely sold out in its first phase.

Eterno Cheongdam gained fame when singer IU purchased a 244-square-meter unit for 13 billion won entirely in cash. Additionally, a penthouse priced in the 30 billion won range was bought entirely in cash by Cho Young-shik, chairman of SD Biosensor, known for the success of COVID-19 test kits.

Nexplan stated, “We cannot confirm Son’s contract.
