So Ji Sub is currently gearing up for the release of the upcoming SBS drama “Manager Kim”. Based on the webtoon of the same name, the series follows an ordinary family man, Kim, who risks everything to save his beloved daughter.
In the drama, So Ji Sub takes on the titular role of Kim. He plays a former inter-Korean special agent who now works at a small savings bank and is a devoted father to his daughter, Minji. Having been dispatched on countless missions, his character is both a top target on North Korea’s most-wanted blacklist and a hidden “ticking time bomb” whose existence must remain secret in the South. Through this role, So Ji Sub is expected to showcase not only his signature high-level action performance but also a deeply emotional portrayal of fatherhood.
