SM’s rookie group RIIZE proves huge popularity with first mini fanmeeting attracting 1200 fans

SM’s new boy group RIIZE successfully held their first fanmeeting within the first week of their debut

Before performing on MBC’s “Music Core” at Mulbit Culture Par in Sangam-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul on September 9th, RIIZE held a mini fanmeeting to express their gratitude to fans in person.

That day, each member delivered their greeting and answered fans’ questions. They also spent a happy time taking group photos with fans amid enthusiastic cheers.

Although the mini fanmeeting was held early in the morning, more than 1200 fans gathered at the scene to support RIIZE. The members called fans with the official fanclub name ‘BRIIZE’ then responded to fans by waving their hands and making eye contact with them continuously, creating a pleasant and warm atmosphere.

In addition, a surprise party was held for Sungchan whose birthday is on September 13th. When Shotaro appeared with a cake, other members and fans celebrated by singing the Happy Birthday song together. Sungchan made a wish and expressed his gratitude towards fans and RIIZE members.

Lastly, RIIZE expressed their feelings, “We were very surprised because more people came here than we thought. We sincerely appreciate your participation. Meeting you guys this close through the fanmeeting helped us gain more strength. We will continue to work hard so please look forward to us.”

RIIZE is a seven-member group consisting of Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Seunghan, Sohee and Anton. They will continue performing their first single title song “Get A Guitar” on SBS’s “Inkigayo” on September 10th.
