A new SM Entertainment idol has caught fans by surprise after being identified as one of the “mystery” contestants from HYBE x Geffen’s global girl group survival show Popstars Academy, the program that led to the formation of KATSEYE.
On November 6, SM Entertainment officially announced the debut of their new Japanese girl group GPP, unveiling the full lineup to the shock of K-pop fans worldwide. Among the newly introduced members, Mia quickly became the center of attention.
According to fans on social media, Mia is not a completely unknown face – she was reportedly one of the unshown contestants on Popstars Academy.
