TV personality and entrepreneur Hong Jin-kyung has officially divorced her husband after 22 years of marriage, according to industry insiders. The couple mutually agreed to part ways, with no blame placed on either side.
A source close to the broadcaster revealed to Dispatch, “There’s no fault involved. They spent 22 happy years together, and decided to now live well, separately.”
Hong Jin-kyung married her husband, a businessman five years her senior, in 2003 after five years of dating. The couple welcomed their daughter, Rael, in 2010.
According to reports, Rael was informed about the divorce beforehand and expressed support for her parents’ decision. Hong Jin-kyung reportedly sought her daughter’s opinion before finalizing the separation.
