Taiwanese entertainer Show Lo (羅志祥) addressed ongoing rumors surrounding his relationship with longtime manager Xiao Shuang during a press conference for his new book “You Can Laugh at Me, But Not My Stage.”
The book has become a best-seller, already in its fourth edition, and Lo’s signing event drew a massive fan crowd. Amid the buzz, Lo took a moment to clarify the speculation about him possibly marrying Xiao Shuang, stating:
“We’ve known each other for nearly 30 years. She’s my family. We’re not getting married.”
Recent gossip suggested Lo could be the biological father of Xiao Shuang’s children — mixed-race twins she had out of wedlock. To put an end to the rumors, Xiao Shuang reportedly provided a paternity test that confirmed Lo is not the father .
Lo expressed deep frustration over the online attacks:
“Say what you want about me, but leave the kids out of it. They’re innocent. Why has society become like this?”
Currently single, Show Lo said he is focused on his life and work. While reports hinted at a possible mainland China concert tour, he responded vaguely, saying he is presently prioritizing his new book and 2025 projects.
Lo also shared personal insights on family and mental health, revealing that his mother’s dementia is stable and under control. However, while supporting her through treatment, he discovered signs of smiling depression in himself — a condition he initially ignored.
“I only went to the doctor once. I didn’t want to continue treatment or take medication,” he admitted.
Despite the media noise, Show Lo remains focused on delivering strength through his book and performances — asking the public to respect truth over speculation.
