‘Shinsegae Granddaughter’ Left Teddy’s Girl Group, Another Girl Added

On the 16th, The Black Label officially announced MEOVV’s debut. As The Black Label, led by Teddy, had consistently hinted at the launch of a new girl group, they revealed that MEOVV’s debut is imminent in the second half of this year and have begun full-scale promotions.

Previously, in February, a photo featuring The Black Label’s trainees was leaked, causing a stir. The photo notably included Moon Seo-yoon, known as the granddaughter of Shinsegae Group’s chairwoman Lee Myung-hee, American child actress and model Ella Gross, who is nicknamed “Little Jennie,” and famous dancer Bailey Sok. The rumors that they were part of a girl group debut lineup further fueled expectations.

However, it was later revealed through an exclusive report by Xports News that Moon Seo-yoon did not make it to the final debut lineup.

On the 16th, The Black Label launched MEOVV’s official SNS and stated, “The member lineup and the debut album format will be revealed sequentially.” This has heightened interest in whether Ella Gross, Bailey Sok, and the other members from the previously leaked photo will be part of the group.

On the 15th, a post titled “I’ll Spill Some Tea on Teddy’s New Girl Group” was shared on an online community. The author claimed, “It’s a 5-member group. The Black Label intentionally leaked the photo of the members earlier this year, but many of the trainees people speculated about have been eliminated,” “MEOVV will promotions will start soon,” and “It’s a no-no for either Ella or Bailey,” generating buzz regarding MEOVV’s debut.

As a result, the anticipation surrounding MEOVV has intensified, with many wondering whether new members have joined the group instead of Ella Gross and Bailey Sok, or if the individuals from the leaked photo will indeed become the official members of the girl group.
