In the latest episode of tvN’s “Amazing Saturday,” which aired on August 10th, Mi-yeon, Yuqi, and Shuhua from (G)I-DLE appeared as guests.
In this broadcast, 2NE1‘s first full album’s title song “Can’t Nobody” was used as the song for a listen-and-write challenge.
After listening to “Can’t Nobody” for the first time, SHINee’s Key, one of the main cast, asked, “Are you kidding me?” Another cast member, SNSD’s Taeyeon told Key, “I feel like you are saying, ‘You dare to use this song when I’m here?’”
When Key’s answer was released, the studio began to tremble. In addition to the question section, Key even wrote the lyrics in the latter part, showing that he is a real fan of 2NE1. “I even know this (the latter lyrics). Why did you do this?” Key teased the production team by enthusiastically singing “Can’t Nobody?”
In response, cast member Hanhae repeatedly exclaimed, “He is singing the whole song.”
Key confessed, “Do you know how much I loved 2NE1 at the time?” and “At that time, we didn’t show that out, but behind the scenes, we listened to all the music.” “I also know the lyrics of the English version of this,” he said, drawing laughter by reciting the English lyrics of “Can’t Nobody.”
“How many words (in total) in your answer?” Host Boom asked. “It’s 39 words,” Key said, and when the 39 words turned out to be the correct answer, Key burst into laughter.
