JTBC’s new weekend drama A Hundred Memories is set to capture hearts with its nostalgic 1980s setting, and actress Shin Ye-eun is already stealing attention with her radiant looks and commanding presence.
On September 4, the drama released its highlight video, offering a glimpse into the youthful friendships, first loves, and dreams of three vibrant characters—played by Kim Da-mi, Shin Ye-eun, and Heo Nam-joon.
Shin Ye-eun: A Bold, Confident Dreamer
Shin Ye-eun plays Seo Jong-hee, a striking beauty who leaves a bold impression from her very first appearance. When she helps fellow bus attendant Young-rye (Kim Da-mi) but casually demands repayment with a smirk, Jong-hee sets the tone as a fearless and unapologetic character.

Her charm doesn’t stop at her visuals. Jong-hee refuses to back down in a power struggle with dorm leader Hae-ja (Lee Min-ji), confidently standing her ground and proving herself as a “girl crush” icon ahead of her time.
With ambitions as big as her personality, she declares: “I’ll become Miss Korea, and then an actress who shines brighter than the stars.” Her unshakable self-confidence, courage to defend her friends, and burning desire for a dazzling future define her as a standout heroine.
Kim Da-mi as the Dutiful Eldest Daughter

Kim Da-mi plays Go Young-rye, a hardworking bus attendant who shoulders the burden of supporting her family while holding onto dreams of further education. Known as the “K-daughter archetype,” Young-rye is portrayed as both strong and tender, balancing her responsibilities with her youthful hopes.
Heo Nam-joon as the Rebellious Rich Boy

Han Jae-pil (Heo Nam-joon) is a wealthy heir with the looks, brains, and popularity to match. Yet beneath his perfect image lies a rebellious streak, born from clashing with his authoritarian father. With boxing gloves in hand and a defiant spirit, Jae-pil embodies the restless energy of youth.
Friendship, First Love, and Fate
At its heart, A Hundred Memories tells the story of friendship and fated first love. As Young-rye, Jong-hee, and Jae-pil’s lives intertwine whether on the 100-bus route, at a dance hall, or through chance encounters their relationships blossom into a touching story of dreams, love, and growing pains.

From writer Yang Hee-seung and director Kim Sang-ho, the creative team behind multiple hit dramas, A Hundred Memories will premiere on September 13 following Beyond The Bar.
With Shin Ye-eun’s bold transformation and Kim Da-mi’s emotional depth, viewers are already anticipating a heartfelt journey into the youth of the 1980s.
