shin se kyung paris vlog

Actress Shin Se Kyung has offered fans a candid glimpse into her life abroad during her 40-day stay in Paris. Despite catching a cold that left her nose sore and her voice hoarse, she continues to enjoy the charm of the French capital with daily walks and quiet moments.

On November 13, Shin uploaded the second episode of her vlog series “40 Days Living in Paris” on her YouTube channel. The video shows her strolling under the bright Parisian sky, walking through parks and quaint streets while embracing the relaxed pace of life.

Seen savoring a croissant in one hand with a serene smile, the actress also shared moments of preparing homemade seaweed soup using ingredients bought from an Asian market. Completing the meal with rolled omelets, she confessed, “I miss Korean food the most.”

“The weather in Paris has been amazing lately,” she said. “Just following the scenery as I walk easily adds up to 10 kilometers a day.” However, she didn’t shy away from talking about the downside of her trip. “I’ve caught a cold, and my nose keeps dripping down my throat. The skin under my nose is sore, and I couldn’t even cover it with makeup.”

Despite her condition, Shin remained upbeat. “Today, I’m moving to a new place. I plan to buy a Navigo travel pass,” she added, sharing her packed itinerary. Though her voice was raspy, the excitement and peace she felt throughout her solo journey resonated deeply.

Toward the end of the vlog, Shin visited the Carnavalet Museum in the Marais district, where she explored Parisian history. She introduced a painting depicting the Eiffel Tower’s inauguration celebration during the 1889 World’s Fair, highlighting the layers of time embedded in the city.

While her health wasn’t at its best, Shin Se Kyung wrapped up the day with a smile. Her raw and honest storytelling left viewers touched, reminding them that “even small discomforts become cherished memories.”
