On April 4, Shin Se Kyung uploaded several photos to her social media without any specific caption.
In the photos, she is seen wearing the official team outfit from BTS’s new album “SWIM.” She first revealed the merchandise box before showing a full outfit shot, capturing fans’ attention. The front of the box features seven characters symbolizing the seven BTS members posed as if swimming in the ocean, along with the phrase “KEEP SWIMMING.”

Shin Se Kyung previously worked with BTS member Jin, appearing in the music video for his solo mini album Echo title track “Don’t Say You Love Me,” released in May last year. The two played a couple in the video, gaining attention for their striking visual chemistry.
There were even eyewitness accounts claiming that Shin Se Kyung had been spotted in the audience at Jin’s solo concert, which led to speculation about a possible romantic relationship.

However, many netizens dismissed the rumors, commenting that “they look good together” while also pointing out that other celebrities such as Kim Yeon Koung and Lee Min Jung had also shared proof shots with BTS “SWIM” merch hats. Some added that it’s common for acquaintances of BTS members to receive such items as gifts, drawing a line between friendship and dating speculation.
Meanwhile, BTS made a comeback after 3 years and 9 months with their 5th full-length album Arirang. The album made history by topping the Billboard 200 chart for two consecutive weeks the first time for a K-pop act. Its title track “SWIM” also reached No.1 on the Billboard Hot 100 last week.
Shin Se Kyung recently returned to the big screen after 12 years with the film Humint, where she delivered a strong performance as Chae Seon-hwa, a North Korean restaurant worker and intelligence agent.
