At late night on September 30, a topic titled “A K-drama where a violent man gets beaten up with a dildo” was published on the Korean forum “theqoo”, drawing rapid attention with over 72,000 views and almost 300 comments.
The topic mentioned Shin Min-ah and Kim Young-dae’s ongoing K-drama “No Gain No Love”, and attached a snippet of a rather shocking scene from this series.
In particular, during episode 11, there was a scene where the 2nd male lead Bok Gyu-hyeon (played by Lee Sang-yi) can be seen fighting with a serial killer. After successfully pushing the killer to the ground, he picks up two glow sticks from the floor and use them to beat up the killer.
However, the glow sticks turn out to be a censorship for the TV version, in the OTT version of this scene, the 2nd male lead… was actually using two dildos.
Upon learning about this fact, Korean netizens and international netizens alike were shocked by the “sex toy fight” scene, deeming “No Gain No Love” iconic for such a hilarious decision.
In fact, the word “dildo fight” quickly went viral among K-drama lovers on SNS platform X, and netizens on “theqoo” also had a great laugh.
