Shin Min-ah Talks About Filming Cooking Scenes In New Film, “I Tried To Make It Feel Like Home-cooked Meal”

Actress Shin Min-ah revealed an anecdote about the cooking scene in her new movie “Our Season”

The December 7th broadcast of KBS CoolFM’s “Lee Eun-ji’s Music Plaza” featured the guest appearance of Shin Min-ah.

When DJ Lee Eun-ji asked Shin Min-ah to tell a behind-the-scenes story of her cooking scene, saying “I heard you made different kinds of foods in the movie. How did you film the scene? Did you really cook it?”.

In response, Shin Min-ah said, “If there’s a cooking scene, I’ll do just a little bit of it.” She further explained, “There are people who are in charge of the food setting. Other people prepared it for me, and I performed the process”.

In addition, she shared, “I practiced using knives a little bit. Rather than showcasing Jin-joo’s great skills, I wanted to make it feel more like a home-cooked meal made by mom”.

Lee Eun-ji then asked, “Did you try the food yourself?”. Shin Min-ah shared, “Sometimes, other actors spit the food out after shooting too many eating scenes, but I tend to eat them all. I never spit it out during the shoot”, adding “I needed to eat and swallow it to know the feeling so that I could express it. The food was also delicious.”
