Shin Hye Sun reportedly donated 100 million won to help children affected by record rainfall 

Shin Hye Sun made a donation for children in crisis families who were affected by the torrential rain.

Good Neighbors, an NGO, announced on August 30th that actress Shin Hye Sun had donated 100 million won to children from domestic crisis families who were recently damaged by the record rainfall and floods across Seoul.

Shin Hye Sun’s donation will be used for emergency support for families in crisis by Good Neighbors. It will be used to help families recover from flood damage, such as housing repairs, temporary residence, home appliances, and livelihood support.

Good Neighbors said, “We would like to thank Shin Hye Sun for the warm support she has extended for children from crisis families who are experiencing unexpected difficulties due to the recent torrential rain.”

The organization added, “Good Neighbors will do our best to ensure that the donations are used transparently while finding families in crisis and conducting professional case management.”

As a result, Shin Hye Sun is the 7th person to be named in the “The Neighbors Honors Club” thanks to her donation. This is a club of high-value donors who donated more than 100 million won and sharing leaders who contribute to the promotion of a sharing culture.
