Shameless Moves Of Jung Joon-young’s Friends: Seungri’s Mention Of G-Dragon, Choi Jong-hoon’s Comeback

Former BIGBANG member Seungri ruined his team with his involvement in Jung Joon-young’s Chat Room and Burning Sun Scandal and has been the center of controversies in recent years. He was identified as the key person in the Burning Sun case and sentenced to one year and six months on charges of gambling, prostitution, etc. After his release, he continued to think only for himself without showing any self-reflection attitude.

Photos and videos of Seungri attending an event in Phnom Penh, Cambodia recently spread in online communities. During the event, he shouted, “I will bring G-Dragon here someday”, and danced enthusiastically to G-Dragon and Taeyang’s song “Good Boy”. Many fans found his sudden mention of G-Dragon absurd. Although many people harshly criticized him for using G-Dragon’s name to gain attention and highlight his presence, Seungri did not seem to care about such negative opinions.

In the meantime, former F.T. Island member Choi Jong-hoon, another member of Jung Joon-young’s Chat Room, is also under fire for his attempt to make a comeback. He stained the reputation of F.T. Island with his sexual crimes and served in prison for two years and six months.

After the controversy over Jung Joon-young’s Chat Room broke out, Choi Jong-hoon declared that he would retire from the entertainment industry for self-reflection. However, five years after his retirement announcement, the male singer began to hint at his comeback. In particular, he created an official channel on a Japanese fan community with a subscription fee of 5,000 won and greeted fans, saying “I will try to create a bright future with you all”.

Choi Jong-hoon’s efforts to resume activities also faced backlash from netizens. Many expressed disappointment toward fans who still support him while the victims are still suffering from the past trauma.
