SEVENTEEN’s Best Album Surprises with No. 1 on Japan’s Oricon Daily Album Ranking

Approximately three months after its release, SEVENTEEN's best album has reclaimed the number one spot on Japan's Oricon Album Rankings

According to the latest chart (dated July 26) released by Japan’s Oricon on the 27th, SEVENTEEN’s best album “17 IS RIGHT HERE” recorded a daily sales volume of 25,211 copies, reaching the top of the daily album ranking.

Currently, “17 IS RIGHT HERE” is the only K-pop album of the year to have reached the “triple million seller” milestone. Upon its release on April 29 (Japan release on April 30), it swept the number one position on major Oricon album rankings.

It also achieved the highest rank for a K-pop artist on Billboard Japan’s “2024 Mid-Year Chart (November 27, 2023 – May 26, 2024)” comprehensive album ranking “Hot Albums,” placing second.

SEVENTEEN’s consistent popularity, which is set to continue with their upcoming global activities, can be seen. They will embark on their world tour “SEVENTEEN [RIGHT HERE] WORLD TOUR” starting this October, covering Asia, including Korea and Japan, as well as the United States.

In September, they will perform as headliners at the “Lollapalooza Berlin” held at the Olympiastadion Berlin in Germany.

SEVENTEEN’s growing popularity was also evident during their recent fan meeting, which was held successfully. The “2024 SVT 8TH FAN MEETING ,” held on the 23rd and 24th of this month at the Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul, saw fans from 118 countries and regions participating through online live streaming.

In addition, SEVENTEEN drew a total audience of 380,000 with their “SEVENTEEN TOUR ‘FOLLOW’ AGAIN” held eight times across large stadiums in Korea and Japan during April and May.

In June, they became the first K-pop artists to perform on the main stage of the UK’s “Glastonbury Festival,” receiving praise from the local media.
