SEVENTEEN Becomes First Boy Group To Rank No.1 On Melon TOP100 In 2023 With ‘God of Music’

Boy Group SEVENTEEN made new history with their 11th mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN”

The title song “God of Music” in SEVENTEEN’s 11th mini album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” released at 6 op.m. on October 23rd (KST), went straight to the top of major music charts in Korea, such as Melon, Genie and Bugs.

In particular, SEVENTEEN also became the first male group to top Melon TOP100 this year.

In addition, “God of Music” dominated No.1 on iTunes Top Song Chart in a total of 29 countries and regions, including Brazil, the Philippines and Singapore. Album “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” also ranked No.1 on both iTunes Album and K-pop Charts in Japan and the real-time album chart of Japan’s largest music site Line Music.

Becoming the only artist to achieve a first-day sale record of more than 3 million copies with their previous mini album “FML”, “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” continued to surpass 3.28 million copies on the first day of its release.

The title “SEVENTEENTH HEAVEN” was created by combining the English expression “Seventh Heaven”, which means “a state of happiness”, and the group name SEVENTEEN to represent the moment of happiness that SEVENTEEN enjoy at the end of a long journey full of challenges. At the same time, it also means the festival for SEVENTEEN and CARAT.

This album consists of 8 songs, including “God of Music”, “SOS (Prod. Marshmello)”, “Diamond Days”, “Headliner”, “God of Music (Inst.)”, unit songs “Back 2 Back” (Performance Team), “Monster” (Hip-hop Team), and “Yawn” (Vocal Team).

Meanwhile, SEVENTEEN is scheduled to perform their comeback stage on KBS’s “Music Bank” on October 27th.
