Seulgi burst into tears as soon as she heard Sunmi’s sincere words for her (Sunmi’s Show!terview)
Red Velvet Seulgi shed tears while having a sincere conversation with Wonder Girls Sunmi.
The new episode of “Sunmi’s Show!terview” showing the meeting between Seulgi and Sunmi was uploaded on the Youtube channel “Mobidic” on October 7th.
Seulgi said that many Red Velvet fans wanted to see her and Sunmi in one place as they are known to be close friends. Perhaps because of their friendship, the interview was conducted in a more sincere and intimate atmosphere than usual.
In particular, Sunmi created a new signature corner for the interview that day. It was the “Close-cheeks Interview” in which Sunmi and the guest place their cheeks close to each other and confessed whatever they wanted to say to each other.
Although the two were burdened at first, they quickly adapted to it. Seulgi then said, “I remember you’ve always said that it would be great if I came out as a soloist. In the past, I was too busy to realize it but what you said made me work up my courage. It made me think ‘Oh, I can do it!’, ‘There are many people who believe in me’. It got me to believe in myself, thinking ‘It will work out well’. So I’m very grateful to you”.
Sunmi then said, “As soon as I met you for the first time, I felt how nice, sweet and kind you are. That’s why I could reach out to you without hesitation”, adding “But there is one thing I wanted to say to you”.
She continued, “You always seem to hold back. The fact that you always hold your feelings back breaks my heart and makes me feel sad”, confessing her true feelings.
Seulgi shed tears at her senior’s sincere words. Seulgi said, “So our crying faces are being zoomed in on the camera, right?”, as she tried to change the atmosphere. She then continued to cry with Sunmi’s comfort.
At the end of the interview, Sunmi said, “I’m so moved to have Seulgi as a solo artist on Show!terview. I’m very emotional now. This is what we’ve always dreamed and talked about. I’m so happy that we, Show!terview and I, can share this precious moment with you”
