On September 26th, the Seoul Drama Awards Organizing Committee, which is behind the 2024 Seoul Drama Award, issued an official apology to N.Flying member Yoo Hwe-seung.
Later on, the official SNS of N.Flying posted that the stage was canceled due to delays at the venue, leading to heavy criticism from fans towards the organizing committee.
In the end, the organizing committee has to release an official statement as below:
“We sincerely thank everyone who loves the Seoul Drama Awards.
We apologize for the cancellation of N.Flying’s Yoo Hwe-seung’s performance during the Seoul Drama Awards 2024 held on September 25.
Due to unforeseen delays in the on-site schedule at the end of the first part of the live broadcast, we were unfortunately unable to proceed with the scheduled performance.
We sincerely apologize to the artist who prepared the performance with great effort, the fans who were eagerly awaiting it, and the viewers.
Immediately after the live broadcast, we conveyed our sincere apologies to the artist and promised to prevent similar incidents in the future.
The Organizing Committee will take more thorough preparations and make efforts to ensure that such incidents do not occur again.
