On May 5, in celebration of Children’s Day in South Korea, Girls’ Generation’s Seohyun uploaded several childhood photos to her social media account alongside the playful caption: “7-year-old Seo Ju-hyun child here.”
The photos immediately drew attention for how closely the young Seohyun resembled her current appearance. Even at seven years old, the future idol already displayed the large bright eyes, sharp nose, and elegant visuals fans associate with her today.

In the images, Seohyun confidently poses for the camera while wearing a wide-brimmed hat and making playful expressions between decorative props. Many fans commented that she already carried the aura of a future celebrity.
The actress and singer is also famously known for being street-cast by SM Entertainment while riding the subway during elementary school in 2002.

After auditioning at her parents’ encouragement, Seohyun officially became a trainee and spent five years preparing before debuting in 2007 as the youngest member of Girls’ Generation.
The group later became one of the most influential acts in K-pop history through iconic hits including Into the New World, Gee, and Genie.

Fans reacted enthusiastically to the childhood photos, leaving comments such as:
- She was born pretty and elegant.
- She already looked like a celebrity.
- Happy Children’s Day to our unnie.
In recent years, Seohyun has successfully expanded her career into acting. She is currently preparing for the release of the upcoming film Seeking the King alongside Koo Kyo-hwan and Yoo Jae-myung.
