As former Heart Signal 3 cast member Seo Min-jae (now legally known as Seo Eun-woo) continues making explosive claims about the father of her unborn child, the man in question—referred to as Mr. A—has issued a strong public rebuttal.
On August 8, Mr. A’s legal representative released an official statement defending his actions and accusing Seo Min-jae of spreading false and defamatory claims.
“Mr. A has never gone into hiding and has consistently expressed his intent to take full legal responsibility for the child,” the attorney clarified. “From the beginning, he has refrained from engaging with the media and has cooperated with the investigation in good faith.”

However, the lawyer criticized Seo Min-jae for continuing to post personal details, photos, and allegations on social media—despite police advising her to take them down.
“Her actions have severely damaged Mr. A’s honor and reputation,” the statement read. “These posts contain false claims and violate privacy, causing extreme emotional and social distress.”
The statement also confirmed that formal criminal charges have already been filed against Seo Min-jae, including:
- Defamation by false information (via Information and Communication Network Act)
- Threats and illegal confinement
- Violation of the Stalking Punishment Act (including court-issued restraining orders)
Mr. A’s legal team said the court had already issued protective orders during the investigation, which remain in effect.
“Given the ongoing damage, we will pursue all available legal action including injunctions to remove defamatory posts and claims for damages,” the lawyer emphasized.

Seo Min-jae initially revealed she was pregnant by Mr. A during their romantic relationship. But she soon claimed he had cut off all contact—prompting her to post his name, photos, and screenshots of what she described as a “suicide note” on her social media.
Despite concerns over her mental state, Seo Min-jae has continued uploading posts directed at Mr. A, prompting growing public concern and legal scrutiny.
