Seo Kang Joon reveals plans after military discharge, eagerness to resume acting, and favorite nickname in Esquire interview
Actor Seo Kang Joon revealed various plans and hopes for his life and career after his military discharge.
Recently, Esquire released an interview video featuring actor Seo Kang Joon, who returned to activities after his military discharge.
After his discharge date in May, Seo Kang Joon greeted his fans with a beautiful look. In response to the curiosity of the production team about “Today’s TMI”, Seo Kang Joon said, “Since I just finished the military service, I need to take an ID photo for my passport and my driver’s license. Today after this shooting. I gotta renew the license too”.
As for what he wanted to do the most after the military service was over, “I wanted to jump back into work so bad. Others say they wanted to go on a trip or anything like that. For me, I really wanted to start working. As soon as I got out I was looking for a work, so I can share it with you all”, said the actor, filled with energy to join a filming project.
In the next question, Seo Kang Joon shared about the food he has been craving the most after his military discharge, “I was craving sundaegukbap so badly. We even had it in the military”, adding, “It’s not good enough. So I thought ‘I wanna have the real sundaegukbap for once’”.
Moreover, Seo Kang Joon also shared he got tons of offers to work before he was discharged from the military. He expressed a deep sense of gratitude, “I’m so flattered. I really had a lot of proposals. I was really appreciated. Among those proposals, there were really good ones. So you guys might see that in the future I guess”, building expectations for future works.
The “Are You Human Too?” actor joined a segment called “PX Quiz” to guess the name of a series of items through a corner of their images. The actor saw a corner of PX and said, “I guess it’s some kind of cosmetics. Frankly speaking, I haven’t bought these kinds of things at the PX. I mostly use what I have”. He added, “I mean I guess they have, but I haven’t been to this aisle”. Instead, he shared, “I always go for the zero Coke, chicken breast or something like that”, revealing his habit of shopping.
Seo Kang Joon is also known by various nicknames, including, “Everyone’s Brother”, “Man from the Comic” and “Mr. Right”. When asked which one he preferred, the actor responded, “Everyone’s younger brother”. Because he is a bit older now, so he wanted to be a younger brother to everyone.
