Scene-stealing cameo appearances in K-dramas (ft. BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Son Ye Jin, and more) 

Which K-drama cameo do you think is the most memorable? 

Cameo appearances are very common in Korean dramas. Sometimes they only appear for about ten seconds, but still manage to draw much attention. Here are the unforgettable K-drama cameo appearances that definitely stole the show. 

In “Goblin”, Jung Hae In plays Ji Eun Tak’s (Kim Go Eun) high school crush. He is a handsome baseball player whom Eun Tak keeps looking at with heart eyes and calls “oppa”, making the goblin (Gong Yoo) jealous. Jung Hae In’s heart-fluttering visuals with first love vibes in this short cameo went viral when “Goblin” was aired. 

Before he blew up, Song Kang was once referred to as the “handsome delivery boy” when he made a short cameo in “Touch Your Heart”.

Kim Young Dae took on a cameo role in “True Beauty” as he played a guy who came across Moon Ga Young on the street. This is his first comeback after the Penthouse craze.

Also in “True Beauty”, Kim Hye Yoon and Lee Jae Wook from “Extraordinary You” reunited and acted as cameos together as they suddenly appeared to watch the movie with the main couple. 

BLACKPINK’s Jisoo had a short yet impactful cameo appearance in “Arthdal ​​Chronicles”. Her character only appeared for 14 seconds and had one line before she died.

Suzy plays a student of professor Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) in “My Love From The Star”. She flirts with him, saying, “You look exactly like my ex-boyfriend Song Sam Dong”, making Jeon Ji Hyun jealous.

“Doctors” co-stars Lee Sung Kyung and Yoon Kyun Sang had a funny cameo appearance as a couple in “While You Were Sleeping.” 

Son Ye Jin once made a cameo in “Secret Garden” while having no idea that the drama’s male lead would be her husband years later.

Kim Soo Hyun had an epic cameo in “Crash Landing on You” as he reprised his iconic character from the movie “Secretly, Greatly.”

Kim Soo Hyun continued to surprise drama fans with his special appearance in the final episode of “Hotel Del Luna”. He showed up as the new owner of Jang Man Wol’s hotel.
