Sandara Park Mentions Sister Park Durami, “Her First TV Appearance After 20 Years, She’s A Tea Sommelier”

Sandara Park and Brian guested on the January 26th broadcast of SBS PowerFM’s “Cultwo Show”.

On the radio program, Sandara Park talked about the family meal with her younger sister, her brother Thunder, a former member of the boy group MBLAQ, and his wife Gugudan’s Mimi on TV Chosun’s “Lovers of Joseon”. That day, the Park siblings gathered in one place to celebrate the wedding of Thunder. Sandara Park’s sister Park Durami, who is four years younger than her, also appeared on TV broadcast for the first time in 20 years.

DJ Bbaek Ga commented, “Your younger sister Park Durami was on the show and everyone praised her pretty visual”. Hearing that, Sandara Park explained, “I don’t often show off about my family members, like my mom and younger sister. That’s why many people around me probably don’t know I have a sister. We are four years apart”, adding, “My sister never appeared on broadcasts, but she decided to come out on that broadcast for the celebration of our youngest brother’s marriage”.

Kim Tae-gyun then asked, “What is Durami doing now?”. Sandara Park replied, “She’s developing food in the catering field and working hard as a tea sommelier”. Bbaek Ga admired the beauty of Sandara Park’s sister, saying “She has the vibe of actress Song Yoon-ah”. Brian agreed, “She has an actress vibe”.

In addition, Sandara Park also mentioned her luxurious wedding gift for Thunder and Mimi. She shared, “I couldn’t help them with their wedding so I decided to give them a gift. I heard they liked couple items so I gave them a set. I must have spent at least 100 million won on the gift”.

Meanwhile, Thunder and Mimi will hold their wedding ceremony in May this year after four years of dating.
