On August 19th, San E said via his legal representative, saying “I apologize to the victim of my assault incident recently”.
The rapper said, “I must make an official apology in a statement first, however, I would like to meet the victim in person and ask for forgiveness”.
He shared, “I apologize to many people who have felt disappointed because of my wrongdoing”, adding “Please scold me for my fault”.
San E’s legal representative added, “We will fully cooperate with the investigation and do our best to apologize to the victim and support their recovery”.
According to reports, San E was booked by the police on the 17th for assaulting pedestrian A with a mobile phone after telling A to handle the bicycle properly in the park in Mangwon-dong, Mapo-gu last month. It is known that A had injuries around their eyes and some damage to their teeth due to San E’s assault. However, the police pointed out that it was not a one-sided assault. They have also booked A on assault charges and are investigating.
In this regard, San E’s agency stated, “The first police investigation took place on the 17th, and we will faithfully work on further investigations by the police in the future”.
