The deletions are believed to be connected to Suga’s ongoing DUI case. After the idol was charged with drunk driving, additional details emerged, including CCTV footage related to the incident.
For many years, BTS has partnered with Samsung, initially collaborating on the release of a new phone. Over time, this endorsement expanded to include special collaboration items, such as BTS-themed versions of Samsung devices. BTS members have been prominently featured in various promotions and advertisements, both as a group and individually. Therefore, netizens believe that Samsung is concerned that Suga’s scandal could negatively impact the brand’s image.
Meanwhile, it is reported that about 30 floral tributes were set up in front of HYBE building, with messages such as “Min Yoongi, resign” and “Repay the love ARMY gave you with your resignation.”
