Song Ji Hyo and Haha talked about their mother’s cooking skills on “Running Man”.
The July 30th episode of SBS’s “Running Man” featured a special episode called “Running Man Outing: Summer Vacation”.
The cooking team, including Haha, Song Ji Hyo, and Yang Se Chan, started making cucumber kimchi. While looking at the complicated recipe, Haha regretted for a moment, saying “I just have gone to work at the field with the other team”. Song Ji Hyo was in charge of cutting cucumbers and she cut everything without leaving the end parts.
Surprised to see that, Yang Se Chan asked, “You haven’t eaten cucumber before?”. Song Ji Hyo replied, “I thought it was cucumber chili. We don’t make kimchi at home, so I don’t know that. My mom is really bad at cooking.” Yang Se Chan and Haha were shocked by Song Ji Hyo’s sudden mention of cucumber chili, but they did show it.
Haha confessed that his mother cannot cook either and asked Song Ji Hyo to join a competition. He said, “I saw my mom spit out the seaweed soup she cooked after trying it”. Song Ji Hyo responded, “My mother puts peaches in soybean paste stew”.
Hearing that, Haha commented, “I think I know who you take after.”
