Rumored to be the actor in his 40s who was arrested for taking drugs, Lee Moo-saeng immediately released his position
Actor Lee Moo-saeng clarified that he was not the actor in his 40s who is suspected of taking drugs.
On September 11th, Lee Moo-saeng’s agency Alien Company stated on their SNS account, “The company confirmed that false information and rumors of Lee Moo-saeng being the actor in his 40s who was arrested due to drug use allegations are spreading indiscriminately through online communities and SNS sites.”
They emphasized, “We would like to make it clear that actor Lee Moo-saeng has nothing to do with the case and inform you that we will take strong responses through legal procedures if groundless false information continues to be distributed”, adding “We will do our best to protect our actor”.
Earlier on September 10th, a male actor in his 40s was arrested by the police on charges of drug use. According to the Seoul Gangnam Police Station, the actor was arrested at his home in Nohyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul at around 2 p.m on the same day. He was also tested positive in a simple drug test. The police were reportedly dispatched to his house after receiving a 112 report saying “A man who looks like he is high on drug is running around.”
In addition, this actor debuted with a supporting role in a terrestrial drama in 2006 and has been active as a main and supporting actor in several movies and dramas.
