“Memories” is written by the hitmaker KENZIE, who has worked with many SM idol groups. The prologue track stands out with nostalgic synthesizers and guitar sounds of the past. Through an upbeat melody, the song expresses the vigor of young people who bravely step forward into the bigger world while keeping memories of the members who share the same dreams with them.

The song takes on a coming-of-age concept to deliver a message of courage and a spirit for adventure. The MV is filmed in many locations across California, such as Thousand Oaks, Los Angeles, and Perris. The MV captures the pure friendship between RIIZE members and their excitement before debuting.

On August 20 (local time), RIIZE also performed “Memories” for the first time at the pre-show for “KCON LA 2023.” The SM boy group kicked the main stage’s atmosphere up a notch with their performances, including one for “Siren,” RIIZE’s pre-debut song.
