RESCENE members Woni and Minami showcased their humor and heartfelt sincerity in a newly released preview for the YouTube variety show Salon Drip. The teaser, uploaded on July 21 via the TEO YouTube channel, features the two idols chatting with host Jang Do Yeon ahead of their full guest appearance.

While the preview included plenty of laughs, it was Woni's emotional confession about her family that left a lasting impression.

During the conversation, Jang Do Yeon asked Minami what convinced her to join the company after being personally recruited by its CEO.

Minami replied with a smile: “I came because I trusted what the CEO told me.” She then jokingly added: “He said he’d make BLACKPINK and TWICE too.” Her unexpected answer drew laughter from everyone on set.

When asked about the CEO’s previous career, Minami revealed: “He used to run a kids’ café.” Jang Do Yeon responded with her trademark wit, joking that it probably explained why he was so good at working with people.

The atmosphere turned emotional when Jang Do Yeon asked Woni what she hoped to do with her first settlement (paycheck) after debut. Without hesitation, Woni answered: “I want to buy my mom beef.” As she continued speaking, she struggled to hold back tears.

When asked why, Woni said: “I’ve always wanted to buy it for her with money that I earned myself. The same…” Unable to finish her sentence, Woni became visibly emotional, touching viewers even in the brief teaser. Her sincere words quickly resonated with fans, many of whom praised her love and gratitude toward her family.

The full episode of Salon Drip featuring Woni and Minami will premiere on July 28 at 6 p.m. KST via the TEO YouTube channel. Fans are looking forward to seeing more of the duo’s candid stories, chemistry, and behind-the-scenes experiences as members of RESCENE.
