Red Velvet’s Seulgi confirmed the debut date for her first mini album, 28 Reasons
As reported by My Daily on September 6th, Red Velvet’s Seulgi is preparing for her first-ever solo album with the goal of releasing it in October.
Seulgi is the third member of Red Velvet to debut as a soloist, after Wendy and Joy. Seulgi first released a solo song in 2019, the drama “The Crowned Clown” OST “Always”. However, this is going to be the first time she drops an official album. Expectations are high for what kind of genre and sound Seulgi will pursue for her solo album.
Seulgi debuted as a member of Red Velvet in 2014. Over the last 8 years, the group has released various successful songs such as “Happiness,” “Dumb Dumb,” “Red Flavor,” “Peek-A-Boo,” “Psycho,” and “Feel My Rhythm.”
In 2020, Seulgi formed a subunit with Irene and released their first mini-album “Monster”, through which she showed off her colorful musical skills.
