Red Velvet member Yeri opened a personal YouTube channel
On August 31st, Red Velvet Yeri announced through an Instagram story that she has opened a personal YouTube channel. She also published a video titled: “YERI’s holiday vlog in Hawaii #1”.
The released video shows Yeri and her family enjoying a long vacation in Hawaii. Here, the female idol showed off her easygoing charm with a modest appearance, instead of flashy stage costumes and makeup.
Yeri also showed that she regularly exercised at the resort she stayed at. In particular, Yeri visited a gym and said, “I decided to go to the gym every day with my dad.”
In less than an hour after the video was released, it surpassed 800 comments and received a lot of attention from fans. In particular, numerous overseas fans welcomed Yeri’s new venture and congratulated the female idol on her YouTube debut.
While working as Red Velvet, Yeri received great love for numerous hit songs such as “Rookie”,”’Ice Cream Cake”, “Red Flavor”, and “Psycho”.
In addition, she is expanding her potential as an actress by appearing in tvN’s “Drama Stage 2021-Mint Condition” and the web drama “Blue Birthday”.
