Red Velvet set a record for first day album sales of its comeback album.
According to Hanteo Chart, first day sales of Red Velvet‘s mini-album “The ReVe Festival-Feel My Rhythm,” which was released on March 21st, are about 227,000.
The new album broke the previous album “Queendom” ‘s first week sales record of 207,000 copies only a day after the comeback.
Red Velvet‘s “Feel My Rhythm” is a pop dance song that samples Bach‘s “Air on the G String,” featuring delicate and elegant string melodies, intense trap beats, and fantastic vocal harmony of the members.
In addition to the title track “Feel My Rhythm,” a total of six songs were included: “Rainbow Halo,” “Beg For Me,” “BAMBOLEO,” “Good, Bad, Ugly,” and “In My Dreams.”
In particular, the group became a hot topic as it surpassed 510,000 pre-orders even before the album was released.
