On July 7, SM Entertainment unveiled Red Velvet’s official comeback schedule poster through the group’s social media accounts, officially kicking off anticipation for their long-awaited return. The poster, featuring a layout resembling blue ceramic tiles, further heightened excitement for the “Summer Queens” and their upcoming album.
However, fans soon began pointing out that something about the image felt unusual. Some argued that the color grading and texture looked unlike traditional artwork created by a designer. After taking a closer look, several fans claimed they had spotted an AI logo embedded in the image, sparking heated discussion online.

According to fans, the AI logo appears inside a shell located in the center image of the second row of the schedule poster. At first glance, it resembles a light reflection, but upon closer inspection, a diamond-shaped logo can reportedly be seen.
Fan reactions have been divided. Those expressing disappointment commented, “They’re finally making a comeback after such a long time, and they should have paid more attention,” and “Using AI is one thing, but leaving an obvious AI watermark behind just looks careless.”

Others, however, were less concerned. Some argued, “Many music video directors use AI these days, so I don’t see how this is different,” while others wrote, “If AI can produce results like this, why insist on using a human designer?” and “Even after knowing about it, I still can’t find it. Someone should share the prompt.”
Meanwhile, Red Velvet is set to release their new album on August 3. Ahead of the comeback, the group plans to unveil a variety of promotional content in stages as they officially begin the countdown to their return after more than two years.
