Jin dressed comfortably and took a group photo with his junior soldiers. Jin’s heart-warming message is that he wants to continue this relationship even after being discharged from the military. Jin’s loyalty and kind personality can be seen in a post written by a soldier that says, “I didn’t think that you would come back to see us after being discharged from the military.”
Jin’s love for his juniors is extraordinary. In a recent interview with Weverse Magazine, Jin said, “I spent more than my salary in the military on feeding the kids. There are many kids who have just turned 20 or not yet step a foot on their journey to the society, and I can afford it, so I told them, ‘Don’t you think you should eat a lot of delicious food in good health? Come here. I’ll treat you.’” He added, “I bought them chicken, pig’s feet, and pizza to the point where they got tired of them and couldn’t eat them anymore, and I also took soldiers in other dorms to barbeque restaurants. It’s a bit strange to say this, but I was called ‘God’ by all my colleagues and soldiers.” He also expressed his gratitude, saying that his successors and colleagues have been nice to him.
On the day Jin was discharged from the military, it was also a hot topic that his subordinate shed tears.
Meanwhile, Jin joined the 5th Division of the Frontline Army in December 2022 and was discharged from the military in June. He is actively engaged in variety programs after being discharged from the military.
