Youngtak shared that he gifted a house to his parents, then Rain said, “Three of the best things a man has ever done in his life is to make his parents laugh, to make his wife laugh and to make his children laugh. I think we have to do these three things.”

Meanwhile, Rain married actress Kim Tae-hee in 2017 and they have two daughters together. In 2021, he and Kim jointly purchased a building in Seocho-gu, Seoul for 92 billion won, and recently made headlines by purchasing an additional building in Apgujeong Rodeo for 15.89 billion won.
