Rain “I lost many awards to TVXQ in the past”

On Jan 4th, a video featuring TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho was uploaded on the YouTube channel “Season B Season”.

In the video, Rain visited SM Entertainment’s practice room. Rain said “This friend’s passion is about 10 times more than mine. The only person who can beat me with passion” and met TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho. On that day, Rain planned to shoot a challenge video with U-Know Yunho.

Rain, known as a “passionate man” in the entertainment industry, asked U-Know Yunho, “Why do you work that hard? Is it because you like the stage? Are you trying to earn more money by performing on stage? Can’t you just stop now?” U-Know Yunho replied, “I find the stage fun. I’ve done everything I can do, and what comes next is important. I don’t think I’m obsessed with the past. I think the past is also respected because it coexists with the present.”

Upon hearing this, Rain said, “Didn’t I tell you? He’s about 10 times stronger than me.” U-Know Yunho mentioned Rain’s extraordinary passion, “Because you are my brother, you talk like that to save your younger brother! When I was a trainee, there was a person named Jung Ji-hoon (Rain’s real name) at JYP. He said that his fire wouldn’t go out.”

U-Know Yunho surprised everyone by recalling that during his military service, he brought real dancers for a congratulatory performance. He shared, “I called the dancers who were with us when we performed ‘Mirotic’ at that time. I even sang (Max Changmin)’s part.” Rain jokingly said, “Please stop a bit. Rest when you need to rest.” U-Know Yunho replied, “I’m greatly influenced by you.”

Rain expressed bitterness, “Audiences evaluate as they feel. That’s why J. Y. Park told me, ‘Let’s become an irreplaceable person.’ There are many people who sing well and dance well like me. You guys took away many awards from me. Do you know how much soju I drank because of you guys?” Despite the bitterness, he complimented his juniors, “You guys are handsome, tall, sing well and dance well. TVXQ was truly the best.”
