“Queen of Tears” Rating Soared To 24.2% In Ep 13, Hae-in Can Be Saved But Will Lose Her Memory

In the 13th episode of tvN’s Saturday-Sunday drama “Queen of Tears,” which aired on April 20th (Saturday), Baek Hyun-woo (played by Kim Soo-hyun) and Hong Hae-in (played by Kim Ji-won) were at the crossroads of cruel choices that Hae-in might have to lose her precious memories to survive.
As a result, the rating of the 13th episode reached 22.3% on average, up to 24.2% for households in the Seoul metropolitan area, and 20.2% and up to 21.9% on average for nationwide, ranking first in the time slot.
In this episode, Baek Hyun-woo was informed by German medical staff that Hae-in can be saved with a surgery, but there is a side effect that she might lose all memories. When Hae-in heard from Hyun-woo that he had found a treatment, she was just happy. Dreaming of a future with him, she accepted her husband’s request to cancel their divorce, and filled up happy memories one by one with him before undergoing the surgery.
Baek Hyun-woo and Hong Hae-in headed to Germany. Before entering the laboratory, Hyun-woo confessed the side effect of the surgery that he previously could not bear to tell Hae-in. After hearing the news, Hong Hae-in shook off Baekhyun-woo’s hand and finally declared that she would not undergo surgery. However, since this surgery is the only way to save her, Baek said, “Don’t choose, don’t even think about it. Just listen to me.”
