“Preferential treatment?”… The secret behind Rain’s performance at the Blue House has been revealed

Rain’s concert at the Blue House turns out to have been possible thanks to a “trick” of the Cultural Heritage Administration. In other words, he received preferential treatment from the government.

According to KBS News on October 21st, the “Blue House Visits Regulations” introduced by the Cultural Heritage Administration states, “If commercial activities are included, filming in the Blue House is not allowed”. The regulations were enacted on June 7th and took effect from June 12th.

In the meantime, a separate supplementary provision, stating “The relevant regulations apply to registrations made after June 20th”, was also revealed. The Cultural Heritage Administration then explained, “It was inevitable that we had to add supplementary provisions so that shootings would not violate the regulations.”

Earlier on June 2nd, Rain posted on his Instagram a photo taken at the Blue House along with the caption, “Thanks you everyone, I’ve got the honor to have a solo concert at the Blue House at 7 p.m this Friday (June 17th)”, announcing the news of his performance.

Rain’s concert can be found on Netflix’s original entertainment show “Take One”, which was released on October 14th.
