Recently, a series of photos of Karina (aespa) went viral on the Internet. In these released images, Karina wears an all-black outfit with a baseball cap while was at the airport and on her way to leave for the next destination.
What captures attention in those pictures, however, was the female idol’s surprisingly over-sized airpods, which look gigantic against Karina’s small face.
Netizens who saw the photos responded, “Was the airpods originally that big?” “Because her face looks so small, the airpods look magically bigger,” and “The airpods seem to be one-third of the face.”
Others were more skeptical and said, “Isn’t this photoshopped?” “The picture seems to be lying,” and “Are they AirPod Pro?” Nonetheless, many believed that Karina’s small face contributed a lot to the optical illusion and left comments such as, “It’s amazing that she has such a small face, eyes, nose, and mouth.”
