On December 12, Park Yoochun posted the photo to Instagram, showing the three of them smiling while seated together. Though his appearance has noticeably aged compared to his peak years, fans were quick to point out his striking resemblance to his mother. He added a heart emoji to the post.
Park Yoochun debuted in 2003 as a member of TVXQ under SM Entertainment. In 2009, he left the group after filing a lawsuit to nullify his exclusive contract with SM. He later re-debuted as part of JYJ alongside Kim Jaejoong and Kim Junsu.
His career has been mired in controversy since 2016, when he was involved in a sexual assault scandal. In 2019, he was indicted for methamphetamine use, receiving a 10-month prison sentence with a two-year suspension. After announcing his retirement from the entertainment industry, Park reversed the decision just a year later and has since been focusing primarily on overseas activities.
In December 2023, he was listed as a high-debt habitual tax delinquent. In February 2024, he held a 20th-anniversary dinner show titled Re.birth in Tokyo, Japan. Most recently, he appeared in the Tokyo MX drama The Greedy Woman and the Man with a Past.
