Park Yoo-chun, who almost falls into the abyss, will return as an actor through the movie “On The Edge” in October

Park Yoo-chun’s comeback film “On The Edge” is set to be released in October.

“On The Edge” (directed by Kim Si-woo) is a hard-boiled melo film that depicts the story of two people Tae-hong, a man who lost everything in a moment, and Hong-dan, a woman who has nothing to lose from the beginning, facing each other in life on the verge of falling into the abyss.

Park Yoo-chun will return to the big screen with his first lead role in seven years since the 2014 movie “Haemoo”. In this movie, Park Yoo-chun plays Tae-hong, the son-in-law of a conglomerate and a successful doctor who loses everything in a moment.

The role of Hong-dan, the woman who hides her sad story, will be played by actress Lee Jin-ri, who made her face known through the entertainment show “Love Nagger”. She will form a couple with Park Yoo-chun and portray a couple facing the end of their world. 

The main poster for “On The Edge” released today (September 14th) shows Park Yoo-chun staring somewhere while walking on a bridge.

Meanwhile, Park Yoo-chun was embroiled in lawsuits on rape allegations, but he was already cleared of charges. In 2019, he was sentenced to 10 months imprisonment and suspended for two years for taking drugs with his former fiancée. After claiming not guilty at the time of the drug controversy but being turned down, he announced his retirement from the entertainment industry. However, he recently made his comeback as an actor.
