Park Sung Hoon wittily handled the popularity of Netflix’s “The Glory”

Recently, actor Park Sung Hoon professionally handled an incident caused by the popularity of Netflix’s “The Glory”.

On the morning of July 17th, actor Park Sung Hoon attended the production presentation of the Genie TV original drama “Not Others”, which was held at Stanford Hotel Seoul in Mapo-gu, Seoul.

In “Not Others”, Park Sung Hoon plays the role of Eun Jae Won, the head of a police substation. According to the actor, Eun Jae Won is a character who is rough on the outside and soft on the inside.

“When I first read the script, the characters were so lively and vibrant that I found it very interesting. I was drawn to the warm and cheerful story revolving around a mother and daughter and decided to appear in the drama”, the actor added.

Park Sung Hoon’s appearance in a drama comes just two months after the conclusion of SBS’sThe Secret Romantic Guesthouse” in May. Prior to that, he gained a lot of love for his portrayal of the villainous character Jeon Jae Joon in Netflix’s “The Glory”.

During the process of asking Park Sung Hoon a question, however, a journalist made a slip of the tongue, saying, “The question I want to ask Jae Joon is…”, evoking laughter at the scene. In response to this, Park Sung Hoon showed his wit by replying, “I am Jeon Jae Joon, who plays the role of Park Sung Hoon.”

Regarding the differences between his character and his real personality in the drama, Park Sung Hoon said, “If we talk about Jae Joon’s personality, he would have many problems, and naturally, I would say that Eun Jae Won is closer to my real personality. There are many scenes where Jae Won enjoys eating sundae-guk (Korean blood sausage soup) and soju, and while playing this role, I enjoyed eating sundae-guk and soju as well. Through this drama, you will be able to see my face growing bigger.”

On the other hand, “Not Others” is a work that depicts the living situation of a mother and a cool daughter, as well as their flings and love. It premiered on July 17th at 10 p.m (KST).
