On March 4, a video titled “Romance Masters Whose Special Skill Is Kissing Appear” was uploaded to the YouTube channel Zo Zazz. The episode featured the main cast of the drama “Siren’s Kiss,” including Park Min-young, Wi Ha-joon, and Kim Jung-hyun, who appeared as guests and talked about various stories related to their project.
During the conversation, Wi Ha-joon spoke about his experience working on the drama. He admitted that he is not the type to carefully read scripts from beginning to end, but this one immediately caught his attention. He added that the character was particularly appealing to him. In response, Park Min-young praised her co-star, saying he suited the role very well and handled the action scenes impressively.
The topic soon shifted to the drama’s romantic scenes. Park Min-young revealed that Wi Ha-joon did not have much experience filming romance scenes. She said he told her that the kiss scene they filmed together was only his second or third time doing one.
Laughing, she said, “I’ve done a lot of romance projects, so if it’s only his third kiss scene, he’s basically a newborn. I teased him by saying, ‘You’re a kiss newborn.’”
However, once filming actually began, things turned out very differently from what she expected. Park Min-young recalled, “As soon as the director called action, he practically ate my lips. The scene required me to look surprised, but I was genuinely shocked.”
She jokingly added, “How can someone do a kiss scene like that after only three tries? At that level, it’s practically suction.”
When the host jokingly asked whether Wi Ha-joon had studied kiss scenes on YouTube beforehand, Park Min-young continued the playful story. She explained that Wi Ha-joon has full lips and a relatively large mouth, adding, “If you watch the scene, you’ll understand. For a moment, my lips felt like they were being pulled all the way to my cheeks.”
